We are very sad to announce that price rises for insurance premiums, critical infrastructure hire, and quadrupling venue costs, coupled with unsuccessful applications to secure partnerships, have seen the final nail hammered into the coffin of our much-loved community event, Halloween on the Green.

Each year, we return to the same well-trodden pathways of reinventing this much-loved community event, cap-in-hand, to raise the significant capital required to host. Each year, an astronomical amount of work and planning is done behind the scenes, and we await with bated breath for the weather God’s to be kind to us so that we can bring a magical day of fun and frivolity to the hills and community, and raise funds.

Rest assured, although we will not be hosting Halloween on the Green for 2023, we will continue our dedication to working hard to draw all the necessary elements together and to succession plan to see this event continue into the future. As we are unable to raise the much-needed funds for our Free Food Program due to the cancellation of Halloween On The Green 2023, the funds earmarked to run the event will be redistributed to our Free Food Program.
